Barnes And Noble - I miss when bookstores mostly sold books.
When did Barnes and Noble become mostly a toy store? Shouldn’t a book store prominently display books?
As of lately, every time I walk through the store located at the mall in Palm Desert, all I see are toys everywhere. There’s already a children’s area and a toy area, why do I have to see toys all over the rest of the store? I feel like someone is trying to shove those funko pop toys down my throat. They’re everywhere!
Go back to having books be the first thing we see when customers walks in! And speaking of customers, maybe have more employees available to help someone out. I had to stand in line and wait behind three other people to ask if there was a particular book in the store. I could see and hear other customers getting frustrated with there being only one person at the help desk.
The poor girl was calling for back up on her walkie talkie when a manager walked by. She even asked him to help with customers and he looked at her and rudely kept walking. He looked very unpleasant. The girl looked back at the other customers behind the one she was helping and said I’m sorry, I’m trying.
Poor girl.
When a person asked if there was a manager, she said that is our manager. In the end, I didn’t want to wait any longer and left without buying anything.

Absolutely agree! I noticed the same thing going on at Borders before it went under.
